Workshops

As the owner of Amazing You Coaching, I’m based in Tucson, Arizona but can easily provide these services anywhere across the USA.  My preferred delivery method is in-person as I feel the human connection is stronger in this format, however I can work with you to deliver workshops virtually as well.  Travel expenses for in-person workshops will be covered by the requesting organization/agency for in person trainings.

Development & Implementation
Start Up – Navigating the startup of wellness programming can be challenging.   Whether you want a general wellness program or something specific like the Diabetes Prevention Program, with more than a decade of experience as a DPP Lifestyle Coach and Master Trainer I can get your off to a good start.  Together we’ll consider what you need before starting – choosing the best Wellness Leaders, Coaches or Champions, calculating staff hours, location(s), material costs, participant recruitment and retention, relaying the benefits of programs to leadership and staff.

Program Improvement
I can develop Custom Workshops to fit your specific needs and audiences; let me know what you want your team to work on! – I have a variety of workshops to build the skills your wellness team needs to deliver quality programming for your participants. Workshops can be delivered in two- three- or four-hour blocks and can be combined for a day long training

Team Building
Help your team discover how they can best work together based on their individual strengths and team values.  We’ll explore individual and program values and goals, identify and recognize each other’s strengths and personal core values and create a plan to work more efficiently and effectively as a team.

Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitation Skills:  Applying adult learning concepts and experiential learning techniques to ensure your wellness leaders are facilitating rather than instructing…and providing opportunities that your participants want!
  • Listening Skills:   Learn how to use listening skills that motivate your participants and keep them engaged.
  • Stress Management:  Stress is a part of our everyday life; some stress is good for us and helps to motivate and can even energize us.  Too much or extremely negative stress is not healthy for us.  Learn how to identify different types of stress, cope with and even find benefits from stress and lessen negative impacts.  We’ll share stress reduction tools that can be as brief as a minute or two!
  • Let’s Play:  Why should kids have all the fun? Adults need to play too, learn activities to keep your participants engaged (aka Retention Skills).  As a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader, I can show you how simply laughing can reduce stress and change outlooks.

One-on-one coaching sessions are also available.

Day Long Summits/Retreats
I can work with you to develop all aspects of summit or retreat planning, from concept to completion.
