I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to have a one on one retreat with Vivian.
We were able to do deep dives into my issues and hot spots and there was ample time to discuss different angles and ways of looking at situations. In between our conversations, worksheets and exercises, there was plenty of time for walks and outings and to continue the conversations out in nature.
Vivian likes to end each retreat with an art craft of some sort. This retreat we did rock painting. The day before she had said, “your thoughts are just that – a thought – a temporary speck of dust.” So I painted a dandelion with a few of the white seeds blowing away in the wind. This will be my visual reminder to blow those thoughts of guilt into the breeze and let them drift off. No need for me to harbor them and impede my happiness.
It was friendly, safe, open and flexible.
I’ve been to other events [that were overfilled] and having time to process was huge.
I loved all of it.
Even just sitting at the dinner table and sharing a meal led to so many good conversations!
I would definitely recommend it to anyone . . .
at a crossroads or struggling with any part of their lives – this weekend can really open their eyes to new paths.
It was a great, relaxing weekend . . .
that helped me identify and begin working on some of my personal issues.
Great place to go to work on your ‘pain points’.
The strengths exercise really confirmed for me my strengths.
I learned that I enjoyed the jobs that I’ve had that prioritize my top strengths. [Future attendees] will love the easy pace and the exercises that will help with making connections with the other attendees. Thank you for a lovely retreat and connection with both yourself and the other gals.
It gave me a chance to step back from the busy-ness of life. . .
and connect with other women, feel nurtured and gain focus for going forward. Everything we did played a role in the process I experienced of realizing where I want to put my energy in order to build a strong foundation for all of my life.
I felt it was jammed packed but in a good way.
There is definitely a safe space here.
I loved the listening exercises.
They are a great way to interact (and I will teach my kids!)
It’s a “must go!
Thank you for your brilliance!
Your experience and your well-organized process!
An awesome weekend with amazing women led by amazing coaches.
Can help clarify your goals—you need to be willing to do the work!
Do you want more clarity in your life?

Viv made every effort to provide a safe, nurturing environment for all attendees
The first activity gave us, as a group, time to explore what behavior or thought process may be keeping us from being our best self. Felt like a reflection and a release. Viv made every effort to provide a safe, nurturing environment for all attendees who are looking for a place to grow personally. Her decades of experience are evident throughout the activities, while her warmth and compassion gave us a sense of trust and compatibility from the very beginning.
Vivian, there are no words to express my gratitude.
I was just sharing my experience with a colleague. I was able to prioritize and put ME first. The weekend helped me put my personal life first and not my work life. I needed the positive reinforcement of strengths and values that are important to me and it is ok to say no. [Since the retreat I] have been attending mindfulness/meditation sessions. I am learning how to meditate and share my stressors in a safe environment.
Come with an Open Mind
What would you say to a friend/colleague who is considering attending one of my retreats? Try to come with an open mind, trying not to have expectations or too many preconceived notions. Because of our card work around values and then the art project, I have many of my values more visible.
The women’s retreat was enjoyable and I got what I needed out of it, thanks!
I valued being able to be introspective, which gave me the information & goals I needed to create [a plan and] the vision board.
I sacrificed life pleasure for work and now I want to do the opposite.
The one-on-one coaching helped me get to a core issue rather than the complaint I was considering as the problem. … I feel as if I already question much of what I do and I am learning to “let go” and focus on my life vs career… I am planning for freedom in retirement vs advancing my career. I sacrificed life pleasure for work and now I want to do the opposite.
Thanks Viv!!
Viv’s retreats are just what I needed to refresh and restart! The activities helped me focus back on what really matters to me and how I can live that out now, in a new phase of life. There was such a nice balance of quiet times of reflection and times for activities that really made me think. I truly appreciated and valued each thing we did. The food was not the only marvelously nutritious (for the soul) thing we enjoyed! What a wonderful weekend. Thanks Viv!
